Coron Palawan, Philippines is fast becoming one of the most popular places to visit in the Philippines. It’s easy to see why Coron has become so popular. In addition, Coron Island has been popular with local and foreign backpackers as a budget-friendly destination in the Philippines for some time. Even by the standards of the exceptionally beautiful region of Palawan, Coron stands as the jewel of the Coron is famous as a paradise for diving to watch coral and walking on deep white and blue sand beaches.

Some notes:
- Taxi in the Philippines has 2 types: fixed price (white car) and price basing on running meter (yellow car), fixed type is usually 2 to 3 times more expensive than the other type.
- Food on Coron Island is also very cheap, but the seafood dishes are not really delicious, the vegetables in the restaurant are very few, the people here mainly eat Western fastfood food, favor American and Korean food.
- When leaving Busuaga airport in Coron, you must pay an airport fee of 100 Pesos per person.
- There are no international straight flights to Coron Island so you have to go to Manila and continue to fly here. There are two airlines in Manila to get this island including Pacific Cebu and the Philippine national airline. Another way to get to Coron Island is to take a shuttle bus from Manila for 150 pesos/one way. Just off the airport door and you can catch it.
- From El Nido to Coron has only one mean of transport, which is a boat which is relatively small boat and it will takes 8 hours to get there. Departure time from 8:00 am to Coron at 4:00 pm. Fares is 1,400 Peso, some places you can reduce to 1,300 Peso. You have to pay an additional 20 Peso of environmental fees when arrive at the port. Fares include simple lunches.
